Interchristian Fellowships’ Evangelical Mission (IcFEM) — Transforming Lives Through Christ-Centered Service (www.icfem.org)
R2F supports IcFEM because it reflects the kind of Christ-centered leadership and whole-life transformation we seek to advance. IcFEM serves vulnerable households not only through practical programs, but by helping communities renew mindsets through a biblical worldview—restoring dignity, responsibility, compassion, and hope. In many communities, poverty is not sustained by material need alone, but also by beliefs, fears, stigma, dependency, hopelessness, and social patterns that keep families from seeking care, education, or change. IcFEM addresses both the visible needs and the underlying mindsets that shape them. Through health care, education, disability inclusion, and community transformation, IcFEM helps people see themselves, their children, and their neighbors as made in the image of God and worthy of care, opportunity, and flourishing. This integration of faith, accountability, local ownership, and measurable impact is why R2F believes IcFEM is a powerful ministry partner for lasting transformation.
Dreamland Mission Hospital (DMH)
Dreamland Mission Hospital is a Level-4 faith-based hospital in Kimilili, Western Kenya, providing affordable, high-quality care to tens of thousands each year. Its services include 24/7 outpatient, inpatient and emergency care, maternal and newborn care, surgical services,, eye and orthopedic clinics, diagnostics, rehabilitation, and outreach to vulnerable families. DMH not only treats illness but also addresses mindset barriers that often keep families from seeking care—fear, fatalism, stigma around disability, shame, and the belief that specialized treatment is only for the wealthy. Through a biblical worldview, IcFEM teaches that every life has value, seeking treatment is good stewardship, and disability does not diminish human dignity. A major fundraising priority is neonatal critical care and surgery for children with disabilities. Support will help expand neonatal awareness,, strengthen critical care, subsidize care for low-income families, and provide surgeries and rehabilitation that can save lives and restore hope.
Dreamland Education Centre (DEC)
Dreamland Education Centre is a Christ-centered primary school in Kimilili that provides vulnerable children with quality education, character formation, and spiritual grounding. DEC creates a safe, nurturing environment where children grow in knowledge, discipline, and confidence for future opportunity. It also addresses barriers that prevent many children from thriving in school, including poverty, low expectations, gender bias, domestic labor demands, and the exclusion of children with disabilities. Through a biblical worldview, DEC teaches that every child is created by God with purpose and that education is part of faithful stewardship of a child’s gifts. A key fundraising focus is education access for vulnerable children, especially those with disabilities and those from financially strained households. Support can provide school fees assistance, learning materials, improved facilities, and more inclusive support so children can learn and flourish.
Community Transformation Services (CTS)
IcFEM’s Community Transformation Services work through Village Fellowships and Local Transformation Units to help communities address spiritual, social, economic, and environmental challenges in practical, locally led ways. CTS equips households and leaders to assess needs, build action plans, strengthen livelihoods, promote gender equity, support disability inclusion, and mobilize communities for lasting change. It also confronts cultural barriers such as stigma around disability, hopelessness, dependency, harmful traditions, and the exclusion of women and vulnerable households from decision-making. Through a biblical worldview, CTS helps communities rediscover dignity, responsibility, servant leadership, compassion, and hope in Christ. A major fundraising opportunity is support for orphans, widows and persons with disabilities.. Funding can strengthen inclusion, caregiver support, disability advocacy, referral pathways, and community-based initiatives that help persons with disabilities participate fully in family, church, school, and economic life.
