IcFEM Ministries — Transforming Lives Through Christ-Centered Service (www.icfem.org)
R2F supports IcFEM because it embodies the core leadership principles we seek to advance—Christ-centered leadership, integrity in governance, excellence in execution, and community-driven transformation. IcFEM does not separate spiritual conviction from practical service; it integrates faith, accountability, and measurable impact in health care, education, and community development. Its leaders model relational trust, local ownership, and long-term sustainability rather than dependency. For R2F, IcFEM represents what principled, faith-anchored leadership looks like when it is lived out consistently at every level of an organization.
Dreamland Mission Hospital (DMH)
Dreamland Mission Hospital is a Level-4 faith-based medical center located in Kimilili, Western Kenya, dedicated to healing God’s people with compassion and excellence. Founded as a small medical care center, DMH has grown into a comprehensive hospital serving tens of thousands of patients annually with high-quality, affordable health care that fills critical gaps in rural medical services. The hospital provides 24/7 outpatient and emergency care, general and specialist surgical services, maternal and neonatal care, eye and orthopedic clinics, laboratory and diagnostic services, rehabilitation support, and targeted programs for vulnerable groups. DMH partners with government health systems and community organizations to ensure access to care for all, embodying IcFEM’s commitment to mercy, justice, and community well-being.
Dreamland Education Centre (DEC)
Dreamland Education Centre is a vibrant primary school founded by IcFEM to provide children in and around Kimilili with quality Christ-centered education that nurtures academic excellence, strong character, and spiritual growth. Established to serve families who otherwise would have limited access to schooling, DEC offers a safe, nurturing learning environment where students are encouraged to thrive academically, socially, and morally. With boarding options and a full daily curriculum, the school equips learners with the knowledge, discipline, and confidence they need to pursue secondary and higher education opportunities. DEC’s holistic approach to education reflects IcFEM’s belief that equipping young people with both skills and values strengthens families and communities for future success.
Community Transformation Services (CTS)
IcFEM’s Community Transformation Services work closely with local communities through a network of Village Fellowships and Local Transformation Units (LTUs) to address spiritual, social, economic, and environmental needs in a sustainable, grassroots way. By mobilizing and organizing community members to assess their own needs, create action plans, and implement solutions, CTS empowers people to lead their own transformation. Key focus areas include leadership development, governance, livelihoods, gender equity, advocacy, and community mobilization. These services are rooted in IcFEM’s Christ-centered theory of change: lasting transformation happens when communities build on their God-given strengths and partners collaborate in shared values to restore dignity and resilience. Through CTS, individuals and families are equipped to improve household incomes, strengthen social cohesion, and address systemic challenges with confidence and hope.
